The kgateway data plane, upstream's envoy-wrapper rebuilt clean-room: the QuenchWorks hardened Wolfi Envoy binary plus kgateway's own envoyinit shim, which expands Kubernetes Downward API templates in the bootstrap the controller generates and then execs Envoy. Versioned in lockstep with the kgateway control plane. Not a general-purpose Envoy image -- use the envoy image for that.
